How Ben Buckwalter Took His Digital Marketing Company to 6 Figures in the First 120 Days

Published

on

Digital marketing is the new and fastest way for any business to grow in 2019. Pay-per-click (PPC) advertisements let you present your company as the answer to a consumer’s search. However, most companies do not have the capability to efficiently leverage digital channels such as search engines, social media, email, and their websites to connect with current and prospective customers.

And then the digital marketing agency boom happened to fulfill this need.

You see the ads everywhere. Pay $997 for an ads course from a guru in a Lamborghini wearing a Rolex and they promise you’ll be sipping pina coladas in the Bahamas soon. Chances are if you’re reading this article, you might even have fallen for one… or two…

Or you might have had some success and landed a few clients.

Most agency owners that have had success seem to be stuck at $10,000 a month and cannot get past that hurdle.

Here’s how Ben Buckwalter, a 25-year-old college dropout that took his agency to 100k a month in the first 120 days of existence.

1. Hyperfocus On One Thing And Outsource The Rest
“I strongly believe you should focus on what you’re good at and hire the experts to fulfill everything else. Most agency owners I talk to are usually wearing all the hats in their business and these are also usually the ones that seem to be struggling to grow. They try to prospect, run all the ads, maintain customer relationships, do all the on-boarding, and before they know it they’ve traded the original 9-5 they wanted to escape from for a 9-9 self-employment gig. When I started my agency I knew what my superpower was- sales. I knew it would be a disservice to myself and my business if I did anything else outside of my zone of genius. Outsourcing the fulfillment and customer relationship management allowed me to work full-time at customer acquisition while my agency white label partners took care of the rest. And this allowed my agency to thrive- fast. Are you working outside of your zone of genius? If you answered yes, then it’s time to outsource,” says Buckwalter.

2. Realize The “Laptop Lifestyle” Is A Myth
“Chances are you might have been sold the ‘laptop lifestyle lie’ when you bought your first course. If you think you can hit huge sales goals with a brand new business and not be present you’re in for a rude awakening. I treated my agency as a job and put 50 hours a week into it to bring it to 100k a month. So, if you’re not willing to hyper-focus and work hard at first then you’ll most likely not have the success you want. If you treat it like a hobby, you’ll have hobby payouts. Your agency needs you as an active participant to grow. Commit to it and reap the benefits,” says Buckwalter.

3. Become An Outbound Marketing Pro
“The fastest way to initially build income for your agency is to cold call your prospects. I built agency this way. I wasn’t waiting around for a good lead. I was picking the phone up and putting myself in front of great prospects anytime I wanted because I mastered sales and closing,” says Buckwalter.

Here’s Ben’s tip to quickly win at cold calling for your agency:

 1. Homework: “Simply put, do your research.  When I go into a sales call I’ve done my research about the person and their business. I know who they are and I know their pain points completely. This allows me to be able to control the flow of the conversation and to crush any objections instantly. Most people fear objections because they think it will derail their sales call, but once you understand your niche completely an objection will actually help you move the sale ahead. How? It’ll allow your role to switch from sleazy salesperson to teacher,” says Buckwalter.

2. Credibility: “A great salesperson will be able to establish credibility on the 1st sales call. Can you list the reasons why your prospect should listen to you? If the answer is no, then you need to establish that before making another call. Don’t overthink it, you don’t have to publish a bestselling book or have PR all over the internet to have credibility. It’s simple as having one person in their industry that you’ve crushed it for as a reference. You don’t have a reference yet? Then go kill it for one person- even if you have to do it for free. Your prospect cannot argue with proof and data,” says Buckwalter.

3. Follow up: “I can’t say this enough… the money is in the follow-up! Some of the biggest sales I’ve ever made happened after multiple calls over prolonged periods even after being told no. If you’re not following up a minimum of 5-7 times, you’re leaving money on the table. Don’t be overbearing and keep it simple. I usually do something like, “Hey ____, it’s Ben- I just wanted to circle back around again. How are you?” Then I teach them my solution to their pain point again. Following up by text or email is important, too. Every time I have a success story, review, or any kind of social proof I forward it to them. Be creative in your follow up and don’t let them forget about your solution,” says Buckwalter.

How to Beat the Odds in Life with “Your Favorite Online Trapper” Anthony Williams

Published

on

Anthony Williams’ success is a classic story of falling on hard times and rising back up by reinventing himself. Before finally realizing his potential. From getting caught in one of the biggest marijuana busts to becoming one of the most promising and successful young entrepreneurs and economists. This young man has come a long way. At 24, Anthony Williams has achieved more than many of his age. His life story has been awe-inspiring, and it was only his determination and perseverance that he has allowed him to overcome all the difficulties that came his way and has become the man of influence and substance that he is today. Let’s take a closer look at his life and the struggles that he had to go through in a little detail.

Anthony Williams – An Eventful Life full of Struggles

Born in the twin cities St Paul- Minneapolis, Anthony was abandoned by his parents while he was still a kid. Raised amidst immense hardships by his grandmother, “Nanny,” he had seen all sorts of eventualities and difficulties coming through. Anthony recalls a police raid at his mom’s residence as his first memory since he was born. He then later lived in a Public Housing Project, called “The Rose” with his Nanny and his other siblings.

The harsh reality of life hit him hard when he and his family were kicked out of the rose when he was 17 and was rendered homeless. This was just before he was about to enter his senior year at high school. He would have perhaps perished in oblivion had one of his best friends who co-coincidentally also goes by the name of Anthony would not have helped him. Anthony, then moved into his friend’s house and lived there for a good five years till the age of 23.

While living with his now extended family, he had too little money to afford to go to a community college and hence had to drop out in less than two months of attending St. Paul Community College. He was forced into the world of drug dealing to make ends meet while working a job, but even that was barely enough for him to survive alongside his newly found family. The worst was about to come in 2017 when a Minnesota Police Patrol team intercepted a truck full of marijuana and had charged Anthony for possessing 50 kgs (nearly $2M worth) of it since he was also in the pick-up truck. He went to jail as well and had to fight a legal battle to beat the case against him. His good friend and an exemplary lawyer Daniel Repka helped him to win the case.

Having seen his life and struggles, let’s look at his success story as well.

Successes and Achievements

Anthony started with day trading in the Foreign Exchange Market initially and kept digging in the world of finance and banking, and after acquiring enough knowledge, he helped his mentor with improving his credit so that he could qualify to buy a Lamborghini SVJ. Since then, there has been no looking back, and he has been named as “The Numbers Guy” or “Your Favorite Online Trapper.”

At the age of 24, he has achieved quite a lot for any 24-year old. He has been successful in creating the first-ever hybrid company involving Finance and Education in Minnesota. His expert knowledge about numbers, money, and the financial markets has made him a sought after name by many independent Financial and Banking institutions. He is an A-list Board Certified Credit Consultant and is FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), and FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) certified. Anthony has helped clients with institutions as well as the end customers with his expert consultant services. When wearing his suits, Anthony proudly wears his Star Achiever Award lapel pin that he received during his early days in business as a Network Marketer for his exemplary service.

Anthony Williams – The Man with a Vision

With all that said, Anthony makes it pretty clear that he is into this business to help others. Perhaps that is much to do with the deep-rooted pain he had gone through being financially weak in his teens. He envisions, creating a system where people understand finance and the importance of money and how to go about increasing one’s worth, value, and credit through means of teaching financial literacy and investing.

His vision is to continuously create a delightful client and student experience showing that human touch, love, and compassion towards people with their particular financial problems. His purpose is to not only provide solutions to them but also to make them feel the way nobody else can make them feel when handling the sensitive topic of money — your friend in the financial arena.

MD Azza Halim on The Future of Medicine

Published

on

An anesthesiologist is a board-certified physician who has attained either a doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor osteopathic medicine (DO) degree and chosen to specialize in the field of anesthesiology.

These professionals are trained to safely administer anesthetics to induce a temporary loss of sensation or consciousness for the performance of a medical procedure. This involves a variety of drugs ranging from local numbing agents to general anesthesia.

Anesthesiologists are an integral part of the surgical team since their role involves patient preoperative clearance, intraoperative care as well as post operative recovery.

Dr. Halim’s medical training began at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Halim did a research fellowship in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, she then went on to do her internship in internal medicine. Dr. Halim did her residency in anesthesiology, along with subspecialty training in critical care/trauma and pediatrics at Northwestern University.

We had a chance to speak with Dr. Azza Halim, who is a board-certified anesthesiologist and multi-speciality trained in aesthetic medicine to get her perspective on anti-aging treatment plans.

Dr. Halim says, the human skin is exposed to a variety of potentially damaging factors. Additionally, it was only recently that people began to understand the harm they caused their own skin. Even walking to and from homes and offices, in and out of stores and sitting in cars can lead to skin damage. No one is immune.

Skin damage is primarily visible as discoloration, pigmentation, actinic keratosis, fine lines and wrinkles. These symptoms develop at an individually defined age, depending on the client’s skin type. Everyone ages in a pattern and at a rate that is distinct. Historically, skin care professionals have looked to the Fitzpatrick Skin Type Classification system, as well as clients’ health, heredity, lifestyle and sun exposure for clues about how to determine treatment regimens.

That being said, Dr. Halim creates customized anti-aging treatment plans and beauty solutions, which are a major focus of the medical practice of Azza Halim, MD.

“I realize that one size does not fit all,” she explains. “I am a perfectionist. Even though I have worked in virtually every aspect of various treatment modalities from Botox® and fillers to lasers and non-invasive procedures, I take a balanced holistic approach in creating a customized plan to fit their needs.”
