How to build healthy relationships and stronger marriages with Spirit Led Ministries

Published

on

Spirit Led Ministries is on a mission to help Men, Women & Couples Understand, Embrace & Implement God’s Truths In Their Marriage & Relationships. We got the opportunity to sit down with them to talk about how people can build healthy long lasting relationships and stronger marriage. If you are looking to become a power couple and build a legacy you are not going to want to miss this.

What is a healthy relationship?

One that is conducive for growth, where there is mutual respect and a common goal.

What makes a good marriage?

When the atmosphere of the relationship has mutual respect, growth, love, concern for the other, where you can help each other meet goals. There is a mutual understanding that there will be good times and tough times, that you support each other through the sicknesses. When you are committed to the relationship and each other physically, understanding that you are in a covenant relationship with this person and God.

What are the signs of a relationship in trouble?

When one or both people are disengaged in the care of the relationship, meaning they are no longer desiring to deal with issues in the marriage or grow in the marriage.

When everything results into an argument which is a sign that you are not listening and receiving what each other is saying.

When you are desiring to share issues about your marriage with someone of the opposite sex, spending quality time with this person and sharing personal thoughts that you feel that you cannot share with your spouse.

How do we know if we need marriage help?

You know that you need help when your have tried to work through your issues together, but no change or resolve has developed from your efforts.

What are things people can do to improve their marriage relationships right now?

We must be able to come together and have a relationship checkup just as you go to the doctor and get regular checkups for your physical health.

Toshia and I have regular meetings to discuss concerns, plans, goals, finances and family matters. Also, it is important to have a regular schedule date night to maintain and grow intimacy in the relationship.

Your spiritual foundation should be strong meaning that you are able to discuss the word of God and worship together.

How you got into this field?

After experiencing turmoil in the first six years of our marriage, we received healing, restoration and a new vision for our marriage and family. We would often share our testimony as we felt led, but in March of 2017, the Lord gave us a mandate to officially help other couples. We began to realize that God had started preparing us years ago through our education and person experience.

What is the mission of Spirit Led Ministries and how do you help couples save their relationships?

The mission of Spirit Led Ministries is to help men, women and couples understand, embrace and implement God’s truths in their marriage and relationships.

We help couples to understand that they must renew their mind from the superficial values and customs of the world. We help them to embrace what God has said about marriage and relationships in the word of God focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes. We help them to identify where the transformation is needed to be implemented in their marriage and relationships so that they can live out God’s plan and purpose for themselves.

In a World Where Anyone Can Become a Coach; Here’s How This Entrepreneur Stands out as the Queen of them All.

Published

on

The coaching industry is highly unregulated. This means that there are plenty of people who are selling a promise, yet grossly under-deliver and disappoint their clientele. But what is there to expect when virtually everybody on the internet is looking for some expert solution to their problem. Since you cannot go to a university or college to get a formal degree in online coaching, what we have is a bunch of self-proclaimed expert coaches – unless of course time and tide prove otherwise. Sometimes, the industry gets a bad reputation because of unscrupulous individuals.

On the other hand, other coaches stand out beyond the rest. People who out of good will, change the lives of their clients forever, provide lasting results and become a role model for others both in the industry and beyond. Rachel Bell is one of those coaches, and her commitment to transforming the entire industry is paying off in such a way that each and every client gets the coaching experience they deserve.

Who exactly is Rachel Bell?

Rachel is a professional trainer of coaches. At just 23 years of age, she has achieved so much, just from helping people live better. Rachel owns two multi-million dollar enterprises, and these are only part of her vast empire. She is a self-made millionaire and is not about to stop doing what she does best. We are sure you would want to know the secret to her success. The good thing is that the things that work for her are not that much of a mystery. They are a set of self-tested principles that she gladly shared with us.

Rachel Bell’s Principles as Queen Among Coaches

Your coaching business isn’t about you.

Rachel says they the biggest mistake you can make as a new coach is thinking that everything you do is about yourself. The truth of the matter is, if you want to make a real impact in the lives of your clients, you’ve got to look beyond yourself. You have to take into consideration, your client’s needs. That is the only way you will be able to curate solutions for them. In the coaching business, the opinion that matters is not yours, but that of your client.

Care more than anyone else

Empathy is something you cannot afford to lack as a coach. Rachel says that “If you do not care about helping people, do not even bother becoming a coach.” She adds that “This industry is only suitable for someone who desires to serve and help others as a career. It’s not a? get-rich-quick’ scheme.” When you come to think of it, Rachel is very right. To help someone, you have to have their needs in your interest. You have to possess some fantastic levels of responsibility for the feelings and welfare of other people.

Your coaching isn’t for everyone.

Simply put, you cannot have the solution to everyone’s problems. Rachel says, “Picking a niche is the first step any coach needs to take. If you say you can help all people, that may seem true to you — but it means that you don’t have a clear specialty, which also means you don’t truly think of yourself as an expert. Don’t be a generalist. Instead, choose a specialty and stick with it.”

Ask for negative feedback and work on it.

While positive feedback will make you feel good, negative feedback makes you better. No one wants to be bad at something. If you get to know what you are doing poorly, you will have to work on that area. To be a good coach, you have to work on yourself first. It is one of the ways to convince a client that you are in the best position to fix them. About this, Rachel says, “Survey your clients and ask them how you can improve your service. If you never ask for honest feedback, you’ll never know if you’re doing a good job!”

Would you like to become a trainer of some sort? Learning from Rachel Bell, you’ve got to begin with yourself. The unwritten rule among coaches is that even if they don’t have it all figured out, they can at least help their clients be the best versions of themselves. Rachel is living proof that it is possible. You can do it too.

Mike Orakpo’s Innovation With A Difference: An App That Connects Athletes With Private Coaches

Published

on

Mike Orakpo, previously an athlete with a career-ending injury at a young age is now a successful entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of  Athlete Connect and Owner of Orakpo Performance.

Mike’s journey is inspiring, and it is a lesson of self-determination, and the zeal to become your own boss.

Mike started as an athlete with initial successes in Texas as an All-Conference Division 1 player. He faced a career-ending injury with ACL, MCL, and Meniscus to the knee. This did not stop him from moving towards his long-lasting dream, ‘entrepreneurship.’

He has always been into Entrepreneurship. He is from Nigerian origin and his family is Business oriented. His mother & father successfully owned and ran one of the first African Food stores in Houston, Tx for 20 years. So watching them always be their own Boss was something that inspired him. He knew that he wanted to one day build my own Business.

What inspired him into Tech is the under-representation of Black people. He has always loved everything there is to know about Tech, but it amazes him to see that under 5% in ownership is by blacks. This is what inspired him to really get involved and to figure out how he can go against the stereotypes and really open that door for other Innovators who look just like him.

His first date with destiny began with InnerGrind. It delivered some crazy profits but the inclination towards something more concrete and technology-oriented brought him closer towards another initiative, Orakpo Performance.

Orakpo Performance is a state of art training center for enthusiastic football players. He later developed a mobile application that connects athletes with coaches.

This app is doing wonders in the app stores across different platforms. The app is designed for athletes to connect with a coach that can help them develop their football skills. Athlete Connect is a mobile app, athletes can use to connect with local football coaches.

When athletes use Athlete Connect, they will have access to local trainers who can provide one-on-one football coaching to help them hone in on their skills. This makes personal coaching accessible to athletes of any tier. Through the app, athletes can find coaches who will design training programs specifically tailored to their unique needs.

Coaches can also benefit from using the app. A coach who has a high retention rate will be rewarded for their quality work. This will increase the quality of coaches athletes can choose from to develop football skills that will give them the competitive edge they need to perform well on the field.

Additionally, this app needs coaches to undergo a stringent background check. This benefits parents who are looking for coaches for their young athletes can have peace of mind as they can leave their child’s athletic development to a coach people can trust.

Athlete Connect can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. For detailed information and pricing, visit https://athleteconnectapp.com/.

Inspiring Musical Journey of Nepalese Rap Artist Prakash Neupane

Published

on

There are very few people under the age of 21 to do great things and achieve great milestones that many people older than they haven’t achieved yet.

Prakash Neupane is a permanent resident of Kolhapur, Nepal and is 21 years old. He is a popular Nepali RnB singer in his area as well as in many places of Nepal. As he is also a music composer and creates his own new things on the music.  He is not only an rnb singer but also a Rapper, Blogger, Poet, Music Composer and social worker. He has won Tuborg Music Award for the best male debut male singer for his song “Sunana” and has been nominated for OS Music Award. He always looks forward to opening new horizons with his music. He’s already a well-known Rnb/Rap singer and songwriter in his homeland of Nepal. Despite this, the latest song he’s promoting got some type of EDM influence, keeping up with the same level as the current hits on his new Dance-Pop charts.

In his childhood Prakash used to write poem, faiths, gazals, however, he had stopped to write it in 2014.

This eventual transformation from a shy boy to extrovert adolescent also brought mutability in his areas of interest. He soon started to listen to Sugam Pokharel, Narayan Gopal, Nabin K Bhattrai, The Unity, Girish Khatiwada, Manas Ghale and other Nepali singers and rappers that made him appear in different school functions, gatherings, and fetes. Praises received at that time laid the foundation for his musical career.

Prakash spent his entire childhood in Kohalpur in his complete introversion. ‘I was very shy and never showed up on stage until my 7th standard. Slowly, I pushed myself into social gatherings more and started to wander in narrow to wide lanes and pathways of kohalpur. Prakash feels he had nothing besides himself to rely upon, so poetry and eventually songwriting became his main thin dig at something of poems and then poems to Composition of songs and that to gain a piece of rap music and he has more plans for still doing more, giving more at Nepali RnB and hip-hop.

There’s always something which had apprehended him to write the poems to rap. Basically, a rap itself is a branch of slam poetry. It’s an assortment of emotions with words. It was his emotion, feeling and self-awareness that motivate him to perform or write a song. These days he has my entire focus only at rap line even more.

He entered into Nepali music industry with his first single “Aaideuna” which was not so successful but “U Got Me” is his most ambitious project yet, which now has 1 million Youtube views! It’s helped him to gain recognition and success in the Nepali Music industry — fusing the mind of a storyteller and producer together to create a romantic love tale of survival. His latest, Arajakniti, is a political rap song about civil war, the local Panchayat political system, and Nepal’s slow economic progress. He told “Nepal had to deal with a civil war where thousands perished and then it took a decade to pass a new constitution. Those who had access to power became rich and powerful, but the general public remained poor,” he said, referring to the 10-year long civil war in Nepal from 1996 to 2006. “This is why I want to alert the political fraternity through my hip-hop music.” “From “nothing” to “something” and “something” to now again” More than that ” this feeling of self-manual realization and aim of executing something at Nepali music had been his strength.”

He has already released three albums, including 30 songs yet & has done featured with several famous Nepali artists like Girish Khatiwada, Amit Dangol & Jovan Bhuju and international artist like Delon & Marvelous. He is quickly becoming one of the most successful & famed Rappers in Nepal’s growing Hip Hop community.
