Interview with Sabeer Nelli

I had the pleasure of interviewing Sabeer Nelli, founder of OnlineCheckWriter.Com and Tyler Petroleum Inc having more than 200+ employees.  Sabeer Nelli is Bachelor degree holder in Physics and Commercial pilot also. After his graduation he happened to be in business and now Tyler Petroleum is one of the INC 500 fastest growing companies of America.

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path and to OnlineCheckWriter.Com?

On my time running my previous business, I understood Cash Control is one of the main parts of determining success of any business. I saw a real need to establish a payment method which needs the least manual involvement to reconcile or manage. We want to redefine how the average business across United States makes, controls and keep track of their payment.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started your company?

Once we helped a county consolidate their payment records and manage their checks, as we were just starting out and few on employees, we worked around the clock and they could start making payments from our secure platform the very next day. The satisfaction of solving such an important issue and that too during our beginning phase motivated us to outperform every day.

What do you think makes your company stand out? Can you share a story?

We are a company with a solid belief system to create a payment solution which is hassle free and usable and accessible at all times of need. Security is of a main concern to us. We started building the military grade security framework before making check printing functionalities

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Focus on delivering real value to the customers. Understand what they need and work 24/7  to deliver that. Build trust and always be listening to them. Don’t rely on just one audience. Understand the value and the voice of your brand.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

That is very true, I am grateful to my parents for inbuilding values by which we do business. I was taught to try hard and be persistent from a very young age. I believe this has helped me bring the company forward.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Yes in many ways. We made the payment system so seamless and affordable for small business. Small business is the real engine of the county. Now they can be paid through Check draft through all AI toils and report without any fee of transactions and gateway.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Learn and improve from Negative reviews. They are your areal feedback”

What are your “5 things I wish someone told me before I started my company” and why. Please share a story or example for each.

Be persistent – You have to be persistent to do anything, When we started out the company we had a Big task in front of us to create the whole framework for a payment system, we did not know how to approach this, We started breaking down each tasks and followed persistently to reach where we are now.

Keep innovating – We may have started with one Idea, but we should constantly build on top of it to reach the large opportunity.

When we started with making checks, we have now ventured into providing services as posting the same and complimentary services as check printing papers.

Add value – always make sure there is a real contribution to the solutions you are building, the value proposition is key, be brutally honest always whether we re building value or not.

We had stopped certain functionalities which was not of immediate value to our current user base.

Try and fail but don’t fail to try – The willingness to try can

Built a great team – we come across new areas of business as we grow, Assuming to know how to do everything is the biggest problem

Build a
