The Instagram Stories feature is a useful one because it allows users to post on the platform at a higher frequency but make sure that they are not over-posting. This will prevent the main feed from clogging up. The two most unique features of the Instagram Stories are:

  • Hands-Free: This will allow you to capture video but you will not have to keep on holding the record button down.

In addition to the above settings, the thunderbolt icon will control the flash just like the camera you find on a typical phone. Finally, the arrow icon will switch the camera view from front to forward-facing.

Instagram has recently added the filters feature like Snapchat that you can access by clicking on the smiling face located next to the arrow icon. This feature will help you to add personality to your content easily. All you have to do is:

  • Swipe to the right or left to access the filters and then
  • Select the pen icon to add a doodle and to choose a color.

Lastly, if you want to add text with your keyboard, press the Aa icon. The smile icon will allow you to add a location, music, GIF, poll, and several other fun features.

Tagging other accounts to Stories

Instagram Stories feature will also allow you to tag another account in your Story. This ideally is a wonderful way to establish a connection with other followers and businesses. If you want to tag some other account, the process to follow involves:

Typing the “@” symbol followed by the username of the particular account you would like to mention. This will make the tag clickable and enable the viewers to visit the profile of the tagged account. Likewise, if you are mentioned in the story of someone else, you will receive a notification.

Once you are ready to publish you will need to press the Your Story icon. If you want to publish later you will need to save it to your camera roll. to publish later. If you want to add to your Story as well as send it to other users directly, you will need to clock on the Send To button.

In a short time it exceeds 370,000 subscribers and 60 million views, all of which are constantly increasing

You receive a lot of criticism and especially threats, what drives you to go on?

Keeping people informed with an impartial source, different from all the others, who obscure and do not talk about certain news in order to obtain favours from artists. Insults and threats are worth zero, just see who they are made by, I only consider them if they are made in a sincere way by people I esteem professionally.

How did you come up with the idea of creating this type of channel?

The channel was born from a need: Instagram Stories are automatically deleted after 24 hours, so on Youtube give the chances to see them after their expiration even after months or years. Afterwards, looking at them every day, I continuously noticed logical threads between stories of various artists that led to the assumption of engagements, quarrels or other. Together with some information that I collected from external people who went around various clubs, cities and events, I was able to give some scoops with extreme security in national preview. The Stories have therefore become in many cases a side dish and no longer the main dish.

What’s the reason for your success?

Success is an exaggerated term. I can handle it. I just think in a weird way and I want to do things, I see and conceive things that other people don’t even consider, but they seem interesting to me, when I’m convinced of something I start working continuously until I can make it come exactly as I had it in my head, putting it in the foreground of all the things that are important to other people that they wouldn’t normally give up.

Who Is D.Beezy?

I’m an artist. I love to write lyrics and record music, I engineer everything from the beginning to the end. All of it is self-taught. I’ve been writing and recording for a little over a decade now. I’m 30 years old and I live in the beautiful state of Tennessee. Knoxville to be exact.

What is your main genre?

I’m not really sure if you can just be specific but I would say Rap / Hip Hop. I started back in 2009 pretty steady before taking about 8 months off in 2018. I’m back at it with full force and making more progress than ever.

In 2018, the reason for the break I took was just to reflect. I just kind of got discouraged because things weren’t happening for me like I thought they should. I was releasing everything for free on SoundCloud. I have since linked with distribution and I have come so far in the last year.

What would be your 2 best pointers for anyone wanting to make a name for themselves in the music business?

  • Don’t be so focused on numbers. Just be consistent with releasing content and self-promoting it as well as marketing ads on social media. If you music is good and you are consistent to keep listeners engaged, the rest will fall into place.
  • Invest in yourself! If you can’t invest into yourself then how do you expect labels to want to invest in you? Know your worth. Do your research and learn new marketing strategies etc. Be sure you use some sort of distribution from Distrokid, Ditto etc.
  • Be sure to stay up to date and follow trends but also put your own twist on things. You don’t want to be out here sounding like everyone else. Sure it’s cool, but is it you? You can play around with production and post-editing and try to find that new sound that hasn’t been discovered yet that makes you sand out. Whether it be in producing a new beat or even vocals and singing. Whatever you do, just make sure you do it with a purpose and I promise you that you will do big things and go far!
